Dyamm Autotune, you’re Rap’s bitch! Abused and beaten, no doubt. I’m glad Jay-Z
put out the record, Death of Autotune–it was about time someone did that ish. Well, I heard Wyclef’s, Mr. Autotune joint, but y’know, they put too much time into all those effects and production, that the point was lost.

I found it hilarious that Jay scrapped his records for the Blueprint 3 that had Autotune on them–especially since Kanye did a whole CD with that ridiculousness.

Okay, listen, when T-Pain dropped, that shit was bangin’–I mean, his songs and production are dope–his Epiphany album was great. Yeah, he’s known for using Autotune, but he carries so much more than that.

See, all these cats using that Vocal effect aren’t thinking long-term, they aren’t thinking about making a classic–classic song, or classic album. They aren’t even trend-setters, they’re just lil’followers on some monkey-see monkey-do ish. These folks are mindless–from local acts to the majors–they’re just standing in the shadow of a shadow of another man’s shadow!
